Christina Xiao, PhD

Dr Christina Xiao is a School Health Pulse contributor and public health researcher. Her work focuses on evaluating the impact of health policies at the intersection of urban design, sustainable transportation, and physical activity promotion.

She is a Modelling and Evaluation Manager at C40 Cities, a global network of the world's leading cities that are united in action to confront the climate crisis. She previously worked at Sustrans, the OECD, and the Harvard Chan School of Public Health.

Dr Xiao has a PhD in Epidemiology from University of Cambridge, and a Masters in Public Health with a specialisation in biostatistics and epidemiology from Ecole des hautes études en santé publique, Paris, France.
